Lesson

Google Yourself (Personal DNA)

What does your profile say about you? Undertake the Google test and review the profiles you have selected.

Exercise: Get your phone out and Google “Linzi Boyd” – this is an example of a ‘Social’ profile.

An example of a ‘Non-Social’ profile is “Lila Karbassi”, a Senior Advisor and UN Permanent Observer to SBTi at the UN Global Compact.

What do you notice about the sources of the content that comes through from both profiles? Write down these examples

Now it’s your turn, Google yourself! Write down how you’re showing up, how many images, what do you think people are seeing you as when your name is Googled?

Next, Google 5 other people in and around your network – colleagues, partnerships, social influencers, friends, and family. Write out how you think their profile is showing up online and what do you think they stand for?
